There are tons of places in Singapore where you can learn online marketing, but which is the best choice for you?
Here are a few pointers I have for you to help you make an informed decision.
Make You Think Like An Entrepreneur
I believe in the importance of thinking outside the box. If the trainer is going to put you inside the box then you are not going to stand out from your competitors. Thinking like an entrepreneur is also important because you cannot have a consumer’s mindset if you want to generate sales and profits.
The Trainer Must Know His/Her Stuff
I know this may sound obvious but you may be surprised to hear that there are trainers out there who pretend they know their stuff. Most of the time, they know just enough to get by the course. I believe it is better to learn from someone who has been in the industry for a long time, rather than an up and coming trainer who only recently made a name for himself/herself and is still relatively new to the industry. Novices have different ways of handling questions and situations; a person with years of experience is more likely going to give you a more satisfactory answer.
The Trainer Must Genuinely Care
Unfortunately it is a known fact that many trainers are trainers just because it is a very lucrative income generating business model. Many trainers will not care about whether or not their students succeed. As long as they get paid, they are happy to teach. You will want to look for a trainer who is not only sincere but one who is also willing to give you continual support down the road. Look at the trainer’s various support channels. If you find it difficult to get help with your questions and concerns even before enrolling for their course, then maybe enrolling with them is not the right idea for the long haul.
Not all trainers will give you personal coaching. However if you can find one and he/she matches the points above then you’ve pretty much found a good match. Having said that, personal coaching may be a bit more pricey because you are not just paying for the trainer’s expertise and years of experience. You are also paying for his/her time and effort. If you do not have a budget for personal coaching then this point is optional for you. Just make sure that at the very least you get some form of continual support from the trainer and his/her customer care reps.
